Welcome to Heart of His.
Hey, I’m Jen! I’m really glad you’re here.
For as long as I can remember, Scripture has felt less like a subject to master and more like an invitation to know God as He truly is. Over time, I’ve come to believe that the deepest work of faith isn’t learning religious language or chasing spiritual moments, it’s learning the character of God and allowing that truth to become our foundation. That conviction shapes everything I do.

God made it clear to me very early that my assignment in this life is to proclaim Christ with wisdom and care, not for information’s sake, but so that people might grow into maturity. The words of Colossians 1:28-29 have long named that call for me: to teach, to warn, to walk patiently with others, and to labor, not in my own strength, but with the energy God Himself supplies, so that lives are truly formed in Christ. That is not just a verse I love; it is the framework of why I’m here.

Heart of His exists because I believe many believers know about God, but haven’t yet been rooted in who He is. And without knowing His heart, which is faithfulness, holiness, patience, mercy, and finally love, it’s difficult to build a relationship that can endure across a lifetime. My desire is simple and deep: that believers would know God’s character well enough to trust Him fully, return to Him honestly, and remain with Him faithfully. Everything here is designed with that goal in mind. Not rushing transformation. Not manufacturing emotional highs. But returning, again and again, to Scripture, letting it reveal God’s nature and quietly shape our own.

I am trained for this! I've written and taught discipleship and small group curricula for over 7 years, and have been a follower for over 20, falling in love with Jesus the same way I teach now - by his character. Recently, I began pursuing a Master's degree in Biblical Studies at Moody Theological Seminary to deepen the practical knowledge of my God-given gifts in teaching and administration. I believe in the in-person physical attendance of every believer at a local church. My church home is in the Atlanta, GA area, where my chosen little sister and her husband pastor.

If you’re here because you want more than surface-level faith, if you want a relationship with God that is grounded, honest, and enduring, you’re in the right place. Welcome.

With Love, Jen
